Danach wurde beidseitig ein 35 g/m2 schweres, mit einem aufgedruckten Schmelzkleberpunkt versehenen Polye­ stergewirk angelegt und dieses Sandwich in einer Flachkaschiermaschine bei 170°C zu einem sehr formstabilen Verbund auskondensiert. Das standfeste Material hatte eine Auflage von ca. 160 g/m2 reiner Aktivkohle und 180 g/m2 mit K2CO3 imprägnierter Kohle und wurde zu einem Faltenfilter mit sechs La­ gen pro cm bei einer Faltenhöhe von 5 cm verarbeitet.
