In verstärktem Umfang kommen heute für verschiedene Medien anstelle von Fässern Behälter zum Einsatz, z.B. für Motorenoel, Getriebeoel, Hydraulikoel, Frostschutzmittel usw. Bei Befüllung dieser Behälter kommt es vor, dass durch Überfüllung die Behälter deformiert werden bzw. sogar platzen. Ausser dem Verlust von Flüssigkeiten kann eine Feuergefahr und eine Gefährdung des Grundwassers eintreten. Die Technik kennt Überfüllsicherungen verschiedener Art. Diese eignen sich aber nach Konstruktion und Preis nicht für Behälter z.B. vorgenannter Medien mit vorwiegend kleinen Fassungsvermögen von ca. *K)O bis 3.000 ltr. Der Befüllstop ist in seinem Aufbau höchst einfach und dadurch in der Herstellung billig. Am Eingang der Befüllleitung ( 1 ) im Domdeckel ( 6 ) des Behälters ( 7 ) wird ein Rohrmantelstück ( 2 ) eingefügt. Das Rohr-Mantelstück ( 2 ) besitzt eine Auflage und eine Führung für den Absperr-Doppelkegel ( 3 ) · Der Absperr-Doppelkegel ( 3 ) enthält mehrere Entlastungsbohrungen C k ), je nach Viskosität des Mediums.
