Die Vorderkante 44 des Mittelteils 26 ist dabei bezüglich der Verdeckklappe 24 gegenüber den Stellungen von Fig. 4 und 5 wieder ein Stück nach oben verschwenkt, so daß der zwischen Mittelteil 26 und Verdeckklappe 24 eingeschlossene Winkel weniger spitz ist. Während des Ausschwenkens des Verdeckkastendeckels 20 ist die Bewegung des Mittelteils 26 so gesteuert, daß keine Kollision der Vorderkante 44 des Mittelteils 26 mit dem Dachelement 12 oder dem Heckelement 14 stattfinden kann. Das Dachelement 12 und das Heckelement 14, die übereinandergeschoben miteinander verriegelt sind, werden nun mittels der Antriebshebel 18 und des Gestänges 16 in den freigelegten Verdeckkasten 21 verschwenkt und in diesem abgelegt. Wenn die Bewegung der Seitenklappen 36 mit dem Antriebshebel 18 verbunden ist, werden sie während des Ablegevorganges nach innen geschwenkt.In Fig. 5 the top compartment cover 20 is shown pivoted further upward. Das Mittelteil 26 wird mit seiner Vorderkante 44 nach oben verschwenkt, bis es schließlich mit der Verdeckklappe 24 in etwa in einer Ebene liegt. Die Seitenklappen 36 werden nach innen geschwenkt, bis die Verdeckklappe 24, das Mittelteil 26, die Gestängeklappen 32 und die Seitenklappen 36 eine geschlossene Fläche bilden, um den Verdeckkasten 21 mit dem darin abgelegten Verdeck 10 vollständig abzudecken. 1. Umwandelbares Fahrzeugdach mit einem Verdeck (10), das aus einer Schließstellung, in welcher es einen Fahrzeuginnenraum (42) nach oben abschließt, in eine Öffnungsstellung bringbar ist, in welcher es den Fahrzeuginnenraum (42) nach oben freigibt und in welcher es in einem Verdeckkasten (21) mit einem schwenkbaren Verdeckkastendeckel (20) zum Abdecken bzw. Freigeben des Verdeckkastens (21) abgelegt ist, wobei der Verdeckkastendeckel (20) eine bezüglich der Fahrzeugkarosserie schwenkbar gelagerte Verdeckklappe (24) und ein an der Vorderseite der Verdeckklappe (24) angeordnetes Mittelteil (26) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittelteil (26) schwenkbar an der Verdeckklappe (24) befestigt ist.1.
