Zwischen den beiden Begrenzungswänden 8 ist bei geöffneter Abdeckhaube 9 der Batterieblock 7 frei verschiebbar. An der Abdeckhaube 9 sind in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel als erfindungsgemäße Mittel zum Fixieren des Batterieblocks 7 zwei Haltebleche 11 befestigt. Bei vollständig in das Batteriefach 6 eingeschobenem Batterieblock 7 und geschlossener Abdeckhaube 9 stehen die Haltebleche 11 an der Innenseite des jeweiligen Seitenteils 12 des Batterieblocks 7 an.
