Abstract

Water-soluble sachets, pref. of polyvinylalcohol, contg. individual washing agent components packaged in portions suitable for a washing cycle are new. The sachets are made from heat-sealed polyvinylalcohol (PVAL) and are used to contain (i) a water softener comprising a layer of silicate SKS-6 or a mixt. of SKS-6 with sodium carbonate and polyacrylate, pref. a water softener comprising Na citrate or a mixt. of SKS-6 with soda and polyacrylate; (ii) washing agent enzymes such as protease, amylase, lipase and cellulase, in prilled, granulated or powder form, alone or mixed; (iii) powdered surfactant mixts. based on 12-18 C fatty alcohol sulphates with nonionic alkylpolyglucosides in various mixing ratios; (iv) optical brighteners such as distyrylbiphenyl derivs., alone or mixed with Na2CO3, NaHCO3 or layer silicate SKS-6; (v) anti-greying agents such as nonionic polycondensation prods. or water-soluble methyl- or carboxymethylcelluloses; (vi) dye inhibitors such as powdered polyvinylpyrrolidone, alone or mixed with cationic quat. ammonium cpds.; and/or (viii) bleaching agents such as Na percarbonate opt. with a bleach activator.
