Die Innenseite des Daches 1 des in Fig. 1 dargestellten, durch einen Personenkraftwagen gebildeten Kraftfahrzeuges ist mit einer Verkleidung 2 aus Stoff, Kunstleder oder dgl. abgedeckt, die sich in etwa von der Oberkante der Windschutzscheibe 3 bis zur Oberkante der Heckscheibe 4 erstreckt. In ähnlicher Weise erstreckt sich die Verkleidung 2 seitlich etwa bis in den Bereich der Oberkante von Seitenscheiben 5, 6. Die Verkleidung 2 wird von mehreren, in Fahrzeugquerrichtung verlaufenden Spannspriegeln 7 gehalten, die unterhalb des Daches 1 angeordnet sind. Die Kombination von Verkleidung 2 und Spannspriegeln 7 wird als Spannhimmel bezeichnet. Eine Befestigungsvorrichtung für die Verkleidung 2 bzw. den Spannhimmel umfaßt mehrere auf einen Flansch 8 der seitlichen Dachlängsträger 9 aufgesetzte Halteelemente 10, wobei erfindungsgemäß jedes Halteelement 10 einen einstückig mit diesem ausgebildeten Lagerabschnitt 11 aufweist, in dem ein Endbereich 12 eines zugeordneten Spannspriegels 7 aufgenommen ist.
