Die bisher bekannten.Gefriertruhen dieser Art haben den'Nachteil, daß sie entweder ein zu geringes Fassungsvermögen oder derart große Abmessungen aufweisen, daß sie in den zur Verfügung stehenden Räumen nicht zweckmässig untergebracht wo&en können. Bei den bekannten kleineren Einheiten besteht außerdem der Nachteil, daß die in die !Truhe eingebaute Aggregatkammer nicht von oben zugänglich ist. Dieser Mangel wird zwar bei den bekannten großen -Einheiten vermieden, indem das Aggregat frei aufgestellt und nicht in die Truhe mit eingebaut ist. Die Truhe selbst besteht dabei aus einem mit zwei Reihen von Gefrierfächern versehenen Behälter, der so aufgestellt werden muß, daß er von zwei Längsseiten aus zugänglich ist.
