Herstellung-nämlich als Schlingengebilde-einen hohen Grad von Elastizität (also
Dehnbarkeit) aufweist, die für den gedachten Zweck unerwünscht ist. Der hier zur
Anmeldung als Gebrauchsmuster vorliegende Artikel weist hingegen eine ganz minimale
Elastizität (Dehnbarkeit) auf. Dadurch ist er für die Verwendung als Iöbelbezugstorf

An sich könnte man den Artikel bereits der der Wirkmaschine

arbeiten, dass dadurch die Elastizität (Dehnbarkeit) weitgehend
aufgehoben wird. Dieser Weg war aber in vorliegendem Falle nicht gangbar, weil der
Artikel unter Berücksichtigung des gewünschten Bildes zu schwer und ausserdem dadurch
zu teuer würde. Die Wirtschaftlichkeit musste selbstverständlich bei der ganzen
Anlage des Artikels von vornherein mit in Berücksichtigung gezogen werden. Es ist
daher der nachstehend beschriebene Weg beschritten worden : Wie aus dem der Anmeldung
beigefügten Muster ersichtlich, besteht der betreffende Artikel aus zwei grundsätzlich
verschiedenen Materialien, nämlich die Decke aus einem Wollgarn, evtl. auch einem
Wollmischgarn, der Grund aus einem Baumwollgarn, evtl. auch aus einem Baumwollmischgarn.
Aus den Erfahrungen in der Tuchindustrie lag es nahe, zu versuchen, den Artikel
einem Walkprozess zu unterziehen, um die Elastizität (Dehnbarkeit) aufzuheben. Dabei
musste in Berücksichtigung gezogen werden, dass entsprechend der Natur der in Anwendung
gebrachten Garne nur die Wolle zu einer Verfilzung gebracht werden konnte. Das praktische
Resultat dieser Manipulation ergab, dass die Elastizität (Dehnbarkeit) in weitgehendem
Masse aufgehoben war. Offenbar hatten sich die Baumwollfasern in weitgehendem Masse
