Der Zweck der vorliegenden Erfindung ist der, einen Ersatz für das bisher übliche Beschlagen
der Sohlen der Fufsbekleidung mit den gewöhnlichen Nägeln zu schaffen. Der neue Sohlenbeschlag ist mit Rücksicht darauf
construirt, dafs er die Verwendung des schmiedbaren Eisengusses, sogenannten Tempergusses,
ermöglicht. Die Verwendung anderen Metalls zum Giefsen der betreffenden Stücke des Beschlages
ist indessen nicht ausgeschlossen.The purpose of the present invention is to replace the hitherto customary fogging

Jeder einzelne Theil des Beschlages besteht, wie die Fig. 1, 2 und 3. zeigen, aus einer Kopfplatte,
an welche eine entsprechende Anzahl von Stiften, die zur Befestigung des Beschlagtheiles
an die Sohle dienen, angegossen sind. Jeder Beschlagtheil bildet also ein einziges, leicht herzustellendes
Gufsstück. Die Gröfse und Form der einzelnen Beschlagtheile wird zweckmäfsig verschieden gewählt, je nach der Stelle der
Sohle, auf der sie verwendet werden sollen. Für die Seitenränder der Sohle ist die Form
des Beschlagtheils, Fig. 1, mit rechteckigem Grundrifs der Kopfplatte angenommen. Fig. 2
zeigt den Beschlagtheil für den Absatz. In Fig. 3. ist der Beschlagtheil an dem vorderen Ende
der Sohle dargestellt. Fig. 5 zeigt aufser diesen Theilen auch eine passende Form für den Beschlagtheil

Die Kopfplatten der einzelnen Beschlagtheile haben auf ihrer, mit dem Boden in Berührung

welche das Ausgleiten möglichst verhüten sollen. Die Kopfplatten können auch durchbrochen und
die Oeffnungen mit irgend einer Substanz, als Kautschuk, Guttapercha, Leder oder dergl. ausgefüllt

Der neue Beschlag hat bei der Verwendung von Tempergufs den Vortheil vor dem Beschlag
mit Nägeln, dafs er bedeutend billiger ist und die Aufbringung des Beschlages viel weniger Arbeit
erfordert. Aufserdem halten nach Ansicht des Erfinders auch die einzelnen Beschlagtheile besser
