Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf ein Gerät zum Abschneiden
der kuppen von gekochten Biern, wie solche schon mannig-
fachbekanntgeworden sjnd. So ist s. B. bereits bekanntge-
worden, eine Ringscheibe, die mit ihrer ffnuns S. ber den
Kopfeines gekochten Eies gestülpt Dird, mit eine ul1ssen-
öffnung auszurüsten, in der, axi,-l verschieblich, ein flaches
Schnoidmesserangeordnet ist. Bin solcher Bierabschneider
ist für den praktischen Gebrauch nicht geeignett da dieser
sich) abgesehen von der komplizierten Hersellnsweie
außerordentlich schlecht reinigen läßt.
Ein anderer Eierabschneider ißt bekanntgeworden, der nach
Art einer Jchere ausgebildet ist< Dies ßp"t iet fu, r seine
Brauchbarkeit schon wesentlich Hnüiger und insbesondere
in seinen Einzelteilen auch verhältnismäBig einfache jedoch
wirken sich die Handhaben fr den praktischen Gebrauch
recht ungünstig aus da insbesondere der Hebelarm, der die

fertigkeit aufwenden, da eine Scherenbeegun ausgeführt

Ruchncidor liegt also einmal in den langen Jebelam und
stn zwciton in der scherenartigen Bewegung beim Abschneiden.
Vorliegende Neuerung dient dazu, die bei den bisher bekanntge-
wordenen Ficre-. bchneidern angetretenen. Mängel u beseitigen
und darUberhinas ein einfaches, gut sauber zu haltendes
Hilfsmittel zu schaffen. Die grundsätzliche rkenntis der
Neuemg liegt darin, die Handhabe sas Pesthalten der tiber
denEierkopf hinwegzustülpenden Ringscnaibe nöglichst dicht
an das Ei heransubringen. Die weitere Erkenntnis beruht darin,
fr das 3cheTmeaser die nebelwirkang unBiittelbar auf den

Drehpunkt bosogen aussunutsen und nicht über einen Kyouzungs-
punkt u fähren. Dadurch ergibt sich ein außerordentlich
einfaches Geräte das sehr billig herzustellen und außerordent-
lich leicht zu saubern ist das dar3. berhina. ua den Vorteil
bringt das Gerät seh sicher mit de& j3i zusaasien festhalten
zukönnen.
Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe im wesentlichen dadurch daß an eine
Ringscheibe mit einer Handhabe und mit einer ffnuns zum Durch-
tritt des oberen Endes eines Eies in einem Drehpunkt ein tiber
die Ringscheibe gleitendos ohermessor *rit ndhabe angelenkt
ist. Im einzelnen kennzeichnet sich die LSsung darin, d8 der
Drehpunkt des Schermecsers zur Ringscheibe exzentrisch ange-
ordnetist und die Schneide des Schemessers durch üinkelstel-

lung zur Hauptachse zum Drehpuht hin in eine suerst in die

ausIS-uft ferner dadurch, daß die Spitze des ehormessers
hinterschnitten ist und auf der hinterschnittenen blanke
eine zweite Schneide besitzt. Weitere Binselheiten der Heuerung
sind duysh gekennseichnet, daß die ante der Öffnung der
Ringscheibe zum Ei hin zurückspringt und su dsn Oohneiden des
Sohermesaors eine eeschnaide bildete weiter dadurch, daß

messers nach vollständiger Destreichung der Ringscheibe be-
