Die Neuerung betrifft ein waschbares Luftfilter, insbesondere ein
Luftfilterpack und besteht darin. dass die Randeinfassung
derartiger Luftfilterpacks aus wasserdurchlässigen ring-und
wasch-elastischen Textil-oder Xunststoff-Bandern, vorzugsweise
Schaumgummi-Bandern besteht, welche S-förmig verformt den Rand des Luftfilter-Hediums
einschliessen und mit diesem durch vorzugsweise maschinengesteppte Kreus-oder Steppnähte
verbunden sind. Das hierbei zweckmässig verwendete Material für die Randeinfassung
muss vorzugsweise eine thermische Beständigkeit von mindestens + 20000 aufweisen.
DieAusbildung der Randeinfassung in der vorher beschriebenen
reise hat den Vorzug, dass das Luftfilterpack gegen Nebenluft
im Aufnahnerahmen abgedichtet wird und dass das Luftfilterpack
beimUasch- ring-oder Schleuder-Vorgang erhebliche mechanische
Beanspruchung ohne Schaden übernimmt und somit sehr lange be-
nutzungsfähig bleibt. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist das Vernähen der Randeinfassung durch
Stepp-oder Kreuznähte mit dem Luftfilter-Medium, welches zumeist aus einem Kunststoff-oder
Naturfaser-Gewirr besteht* Es wird hierbei nicht nur das Festhalten der Randeinfassung
mit dem Luftfilter-Medium erreicht, sondern auch eine Dehnung in Längsrichtung der
Randstreifen verhindert. Das Pack bleibt somit auch bei oftmaligem asohen ringen
oder Schleudern in seinen ursprunglich gegebenen fassen erhalten und bildet somit
eine nicht dehnbare Begrenzung der Aussenabmessung des Luftfilterparks.
Inder Zeichnung ist eine usführungsform gemsss der Neuerung
in zwei Abbildungen dargestellt.
