Abstract
Mattress comprises two cushion core layers of different softness placed loosely one on top of the other and inserted in a case with a closable opening. The layers pref. consist of foam, are each separately covered with fabric, and have between them an intermediate layer of low adhesion, pref. of flexible smooth fabric, plastic film or rubber cloth. In use, the harder layer is underneath, and the softer top layer is covered on both sides with a layer of sheep's wool prior to separately covering it with fabric. The mattress can be mass produced without high costs, and has optimum spring and support properties. By covering the two layers with fabric separately, adhesion is eliminated, allowing unobstructed yielding of the two layers.
Description

The invention relates to a mattress with two cushion core layers of different softness, which preferably consist of foam.
Known such mattresses have the disadvantage that the different soft, respectively. harder layers of a mattress are firmly glued together. This significantly impairs the unimpeded yielding of the individual cushion core layers and reduces the resilience properties.
The invention is based on the object to remedy this and to design a mattress so that it is in terms of the suspension, respectively. Flexibility is optimal.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the two layers, placed loosely on top of one another, are placed in an envelope with a closable opening. Each layer is preferably covered separately with a substance. When using the mattress, the harder layer should be at the bottom and the softer layer at the top. The latter is covered on both sides with a layer of sheep's wool before it is separately covered with fabric.
These two separately covered upholstery layers are together in a mattress cover, which z. B. is provided with a zipper, plugged and thus form a finished mattress.
It is obvious that by separately covering the two upholstery cores with fabric, the adhesion is practically canceled and the two elements can give way unhindered. This means a significant increase in flexibility as well as flexibility.
The invention is intended in particular in combination with the bed frame described in patent no. 483 234 with hardness adjustment traverses.
Further details and configurations can be found in the following description, in which the invention is described in more detail using the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a cross section of the mattress, consisting of two cushion cores 1 and 2. The harder layer 1 comes to rest at the bottom, the softer layer 2 at the top. The latter has a layer 3 on both sides, which is preferably made of sheep's wool, camel hair or a synthetic fleece consists. Both cushion core layers 1 and 2 are each covered separately with a fabric 4, preferably made of calicot, white cloth or feather cloth.
The mattress cover 5 has a three-sided opening with a zipper, Velcro fastener or buttonhole fastener 6.
2 shows a perspective partial view of the mattress with the cover 5 open, in which the two mattress cores 1 and 2 can be seen lying on top of one another. The opening slit 6 (zipper) preferably extends over three sides so that the mattress cover 5 can be opened comfortably and completely when the top layer 1 is turned over.
This training allows the manufacturer to bring a mattress on the market, which can not only be produced in series with practically no additional costs, but by separating the softer and harder layers 1 and 2 optimal spring respectively. Has support properties.
