Beschreibung.
Die Neuerung betrifft einen Verschluß für durch
Flachdeokel o. dgl. abaohließbare Gefäße, Behälter o. dgl
mit Halterand unter Verwendung eines offenen haltern-
ges von U-förmigem Querschnitt, dessen Schenkel Uber
den Deckel und unter den Halterand des Gefäßes greifen.
Die Neuerung ermöglicht, im Gegensatz zu dem Be-
kanntem, die Festlegung des Halteringes an dem Gefäß
statt mit Eilte eines besonderen Schlüssel. einfach
durch Andrücken von Hand. Der dadurch erzielte Verschluß
widersteht allen Beanspruchungen, auch denen, die beim
Einkoohen oder Sterilisieren auftreten. Weitere Vortei-
le der Neuerung sind, dass der Baltering aus einfachem
dünnen Blech hergestellt sein kann, dass er nicht nur
billig in der Anfertigung ist sondern auch leioht,

In der Mitte, etwa in halber Höhe des Halteringes @ ist eine nach außen vorstehende

Fig. 4 zeigt in einem Teilsohnitt die Anwendung des
neuen VersohluBes für ein Glasgetäß k, das auf der Unter-

mit der untere umgerollte. Rand f ßaa Halteringes e eine
aiohare Lage in der VerschluBstellung einnehmen kann.
Bei dem aus Blech hergestellten Haltering e empfiehlt
es sich, wie Fig. 5 in einem Schnitt zeigt, die Enden bei
p umzuaohlagen, ehe die ungewollten Bänder f. S oder die
Sicke h erzeugt werden.
Beim Aufbringen des Haltaringes e be-ginnt man mit
dem einen Ende des Ber indem man eunäohat den unte-
ren umgerollten Rand f unter die Umrollung b des Blech-
&efäBes
gefäßes a bringt und dann den Ring so kippt, dassiseine Umrollung
g von oben auf dem Bord des Deckels g liegt.
Mit dieser Handhabung beginnt man an dem einen Bnde ei !
offenen Ringes e und setzt diese Handhabung forts bis
das andere Ende des Ringes erreicht ist. Der auf diese
Weise erzeugte Verschluß läßt sich leicht von Band aus-
führen, ohne dass man zum Schließan oder Oeffnen ein Werkzeug nötig hat, Der, neuer
Verschluß ermöglicht die Verwendung dei Halteringes @ erstmalig auch bei Vierkantgefaßen
