Die Heizelemente bestehen aus keramischen Rohren 1, in die zu Spiralen gewickelte Heizleiter eingeschoben sind, und die an der Innenwand der keramischen Rohre 1 anliegen. Die Rohre 1 sind mit einer Schelle 3 zu einem Bündel zusammengefaßt, das insgesamt eine Heizanordnung 4 bildet. Diese Heizanordnung 4 wird, wie in Fi g. 2 dargestellt, in einem zylindrischen Ofen- : gehäuse 5 angeordnet, an dessen beiden Stirnseiten Rohrstutzen 6 und 7 sowie Flansche 8 und 9 zur Befestigung von (nicht dargestellten) Leitungen für das aufzuwärmende bzw. erwärmte gasförmige Medium angebracht sind. Das zu erwärmende Medium strömt über einen seitlich nahe der Stirnseite des Gehäuses angeordneten Rohrstutzen 16 zunächst in den Hohlraum 15 ein, strömt durch den Hohlraum 15 bis zur anderen Stirnseite des Gehäuses, strömt in entgegengesetzter Richtung durch die Heiz- , anordnung 4 und tritt durch einen Stutzen 17 nun erhitzt aus dem Widerstandsofen aus. Durch diese Anordnung wird eine gute Wärmeisolierung zwischen dem Heizsystem 4 und der Außenwand des Ofengehäuses 14 erreicht.In the case of the FIG.
