Die Streichhölzer sind in der Schublade a aufbewahrt, welche durch Einfassen in den Falz b aufgezogen wird. Ein Fingerdruck auf die Feder C, Fig. 3, hebt dessen Häkchen aus dem Einschnitt d, so dafs die Seitenthür e, an welcher die Scheibenthür η mittelst eines Scharniers frei beweglich ist, durch den Druck der Feder / sich selbsttätig entfalten kann. Hierbei wird der Laternenboden durch den der Schachtel selbst angehörigen Boden g, den der Seitenthür e angehörigen Boden h und den der Scheibenthür η zugehörigen Boden i, welche drei, neben einander liegend, fächerförmig zusammengefaltet lagen, aus einander gezogen. Am Boden i ist die Zunge k angebracht, welche in die Seitenwand der am Scharnier / beweglichen Lichtdülle m eingreift und diese mit vorzieht, während die an der Dülle befestigte Feder f vermöge ihres Druckes gegen die Thür e die Dülle mit dem Licht von letzterer in geeignete Entfernung abdrückt.The matches are stored in the drawer a , which is opened by being inserted into the fold b .
