Ferner ist an den Schieber d, Fig. 4, ein Kloben k angeschraubt, in welchem der mit zwei Federn m und η versehene Hebel / befestigt ist. Die Feder m hat den Zweck, den Hebel / gegen die Wand 0 zu drücken, während die Spiralfeder η den Hebel / sammt dem Schieber d stets nach unten zieht. Wird also letzterer nach oben bewegt und dadurch ein Zündholz auf die Oberkante der Scheidewand i gehoben, wo dasselbe durch den Schnepper / festgeklemmt wird, so bewegt sich der Hebel / ebenfalls in die Höhe und stellt sich senkrecht, nachdem die an demselben angebrachte Nase/ die Oberkante der Wand 0 passirt hat, Fig. 2. Am Obertheil des Hebels / ist ein flaches Stück q angebracht, welches mit geeignetem Stoff beklebt ist, um eine Entzündung des Zündholzes herbeizuführen. Dies geschieht, wenn durch die Spiralfeder η der Hebel / rasch heruntergezogen wird, nachdem der Druck auf den Knopf e aufgehört hat. Bei dieser Abwärtsbewegung des Hebels / erreicht die Nase / wieder die Oberkante der Wand 0, wodurch der Hebel und die reibende Fläche von dem brennenden Zündholz entfernt werden, damit ein Verbrennen des reibenden Stoffes vermieden werde. Der Schnepper j mufs das Zündholz von der schrägen Kante von d frei' in die Rinne von i einfallen lassen, es aber andererseits darin festhalten, wenn die Fläche q gegen die Zündmasse streicht.
