Ein bekan ter selbständiger Rollkragen für Pullover
Blusen, Kleider o. dgl. erstreckt sich mit seinem Gewirk bei
entsprechender Epweiterong durch Zunähme von Maschen so weit
nach imten, daß er aus Granden eines glatten Anliegens wie
auch
aus geschmacklichen Gründen unter den Rand des HäLsausschnittes
des Pullovers o. dgl. greift. Da nun die GrBße und die Form
des Halsausschnittes jeweils verschieden ist bzw. sich vielfach
am Halemaschnitt vo= ein durohbrochenes Muster befindet,
reicht das Bnterende des Rollkragens nicht in jedem-Falle so
weit, daS ein allseitiger geschlossener Ansohoß zwischen dem
Rollkragen und dem Halsausschnitt des Pallovers o. dgl. herge-
stellt wird bzw. nur ein Teil des durchbrochenen Musters von
dem Unterende des Rollkragens Untergriffen wird so daß dieses
Muster dann durch den dieses nitten durchquerenden unteren
Rand
des BolUmagene gestört wird*. Andererseits kann die Verlänge-
rang des Rollkragens nach unten nicht zu. lang gewählt werden,
da sich sonst der untere Rand wem und damit in unansehnliche
Weise am Pullover o. dgl aufträgt.. Aus dem gleichen Grunde
ist
es natürlich auch nicht mögliche den Rollkragen etwa über dem
Pullover odgl zu tragen, da sein nach unten erweiterter, ge-
wirkten Ansatz bei größeren Ausmaßen. nicht überall gleichmäßig
anliegen und daher unschön aussehen wurden
Mit dem Rollkragtu nach der Neuerung werden diese Nach-
teile beseitigte Bei ihm ist sein unterer Rand mit Bransen
ver
sehen. Dank diesen Bransen paßt sich der Rollkragen unten jede
HalsausschnittföTm und-große ohne weiteres an wobei durch
Wahl entsprechend dichter Fransen ein einwandfreier Abschluß
des Balsanaschaittraades wie such eine vollständige Abdeckung
eines etwaigen durchbrochenen Musters am Halsausschnitt so-
wohlinBesugauf hsichtbarkeit als auch in Bezug auf Kälte-
und Windschutz erreicht wird. Die Fransen sind im Gegensatz
zu
einem gewirkten Rand einzeln also unabhängig voneinander voll
kommen frei nachgiebig und passen sich daher sowohl der Brust
und dem Rücken wie auch den Schultern glatt o daß stets
ein einwandfreier und gut abschließender Sitz gewährleistet
ist*. Bei Verwendung des Rollkragens nach der Neuerung bei-
spielsweise auf einem Gesellschaftskleid mit durchbrochenem
Muster am Halsausschnitt kann sich die Trägerin des Rollkragen
nach Betreten des Hauses kurz zurückziehen und dabei den Roll-
kragen schnell und bequem ablegen. um ihn dann vor'Verlassen
des Hauses in gleicher Weise wieder anzulegen.
