Dnman bedürfen bekanntlich sehr häufig und bei fast allen Gelegenheiten eines kleinen
Spiegels, und aus diesem Grunde findet man wohl selten eine Damenhandtasohe, in
welcher nicht auch ein Spiegel, gewöhnlich in einem kleinen Nebenabteil, untergebracht
ist. Aber es ist für die Dame nicht sehr bequem im Bedarfsfälle immer erst die Tasche
öffnen und den Spiegel herausnehmen zu müssen und das um so weniger, als der Spiegel
dann noch sehr unbequem zu halten ist. Letzteren Mißstand hat man nun wohl dadurch
beseitigt, daß man einen Spiegel im Innern der Tasche am Bügel angeordnet hat, sodaß
man ihn also auch nach außen heraus@h@enken konnte. Aber auch diese Einrichtung
machte es immer noch erforderlich, daß man die Tasche
öffnen muaste, und dazu kommt dann, daß es bei gefüllter Hand-
tasche schwierig ist, den Spiegel heraus zu schwenken und ihn
dann später wieder einzuklappen. Gegenstand vorliegenden Gebrauchamusters
ist nun ein Einrichtung, durch welche alle diese Mißstände beseitigt werden, und
zwar dadurch, daß der Spiegel an dem Tasohenbügel so angeordnet ist, daß er, ohne
den Bügel öffnen zu müssen, 1b seiner eigenen Ebene aus-und einschwenkbar gemacht
ist. Man kann also den Spiegel jeder Zeit ohne weiteres leicht in die Gebrauchsstellung
bringen, braucht ihn dann nicht besonders zu halten, da er Ja an der Tasche fest
sitzt, und nach dem Gebrauch kann er ebenso ohne weiteres wieder versenkt werden
und ist dann äußerlich an der Tasche nicht mehr zu erkennen. Alle diese Maßnahmen
können erfolgen, ganz gleichgültig, ob die Tasche leer oder ob sie stark gefüllt

Man erkennt aus der Zeichnung die Handtasche a, welche jede beliebige
Gestalt und Maohart haben kann. sie ist an den Tasohenbügel b, o gearbeitet, der,
wie üblich, in g zusammengelenkt ist. An dem einen Bügelteil b ist nun der beliebig
gestaltete Spiegel d drehbar angeordnet und zu seiner Drehung kann ein Drehknopf,
Wirbel oder dergl. e beliebiger Gestalt henutzt werdne. Der andere Bügelteil c bewegt
sich mit seinem Verschluß f vollständig frei, sodaß also die Tasche geöffnet und
geschlossen werden kann, ganz gleichgültig, in welcher Stellung der Spiegel sich
befindet. Dieser Spiegel d ist nun
normal in der Weise, wie in Fig. 1 punktiert dargestellt, der-
art tin die eine Flaohseite der Tasche eingesohwenkt, daß er
weder von sitßen noch von innen sichtbar ist. Zum Gebrauch
braucht man nur den Drehknopf e entsprechend zu drehen, wodurch
der Spiegel herausgeaohwenkt wird und so ohne weiteres bequem
benutzt worden kwüi.
Selbstverständlich kann auch der Basel b, o selbst ganz
beliebiger Art und Gestalt sein, und ebenso kann man, wie das
bei dem vorliegenden Beispiel geschehen ist, den BügelverschluB

mit der Spiegeldfehvorriohtung kombinieren, oder man kann bei-
