Zum Auftragen des festen Bohnerwaohses auf den Fußboden etc. verwendete
man bisher fast ausnahmslos einen Lappen, Dieses Verfahren ist aber höchst unrationell. Der Lappen saugt eine erhebliohe Menge Waohs
auf, die gänzlioh verloren ist, denn bis zum näohsten Bohnern ist das
Waohs im Lappen vertrocknet. Außerdem beschmutzte man sioh bei dem
Verfahren die Finger und sog eich an Dielen und Kanten bezw. Splittein
