Description

Die Neuerungen erstrecken sich auf die Erhaltung des gleichmäfsigen Ganges beider Schwimmer und auf eine Vorrichtung, den Hub derselben während des Betriebes zu ändern, besonders in Bezug auf das dritte Zusatz-Patent P. R. Während dieselben in früheren Anordnungen aus einem Stück bestanden, sind sie hier getheilt und mit Armen c c1 versehen, in deren gabelförmigen Enden Muttern d d1 sich um seitliche Zapfen drehen, deren Mittelaxen sich mit der Axe der Schraubenspindel rechtwinklig kreuzen. Die eine dieser Muttern hat Rechts-, die andere Linksgewinde. Durch beide geht die Schraubenspindel e, welche das Handrad f trägt und somit beide Segmente zu einem starren System vereinigt. Durch Drehen des Handrades können nun die Zahnsegmente b b' in entgegengesetzter Richtung auf dem Bolzen α verdreht werden, so dafs sie z. B. die Lage, Fig. 4, annehmen. Die Segmente greifen in Zahnstangen gg1 , welche mit den Schwimmern des Siphonoids verbunden sind, und Rollen h h' dienen zur Erhaltung des Eingriffs.In Fig. 2, 3 and 4 a device is shown by means of which you can change the lifting height of the float during operation.
