Description

Das infolge der Schrumpfung eintretende Abheben der erstarrten Strangschale von der Kokillenwand erfolgt jedoch sehr ungleichmäßig, weshalb die erzeugten Stränge nicht genau dieselbe Querschnittsform wie die der Kokille aufweisen. Die Quadratstränge fallen in der Regel rautenförmig an, d. h., sie weisen einen rhombischen Querschnitt auf. Infolge geringer unvermeidlicher Ungleichmäßigkeiten beim Gießen wechselt die genannte Ungleichmäßigkeit in der Quer- ao schnittsform der erzeugten Stränge mehrmals während ein und desselben Gusses, so daß die längere Diagonale einmal in der einen und dann wieder in der anderen Richtung liegt. Hierdurch entstehen Schwierigkeiten beim Transport des Stranges in der Vorschub- oder Richtvorrichtung, insbesondere wenn dort kalibrierte Rollen Verwendung finden. Außerdem sind bei gewissen Weiterverarbeitungsverfahren, z.B. beim Lochen in der Rohrerzeugung, Strangabschnitt mit genau gleichmäßigen Querschnittsformen erwünscht.In such systems, the strand emerging from the continuous casting mold is drawn along a straight line or curved path through the so-called after-cooling section, then passes through feed or. Stranggießanlagen, in welchen die erzeugten Stränge durch die Vorschubwalzen oder zusätzlich angeordnete Walzwerke unter Ausnutzung der Gießwärme verformt werden, sind an sich bekannt. So=. ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, Flachstränge gegebenenfalls mit Hilfe von Rollenwalzwerken auf Blechstärke herunterzuwalzen oder Rachstränge mit ebenen oder vorprofilierten Seitenflächen mit Hilfe entsprechend kalibrierter Walzen in mehrere Einzelstränge zu unterteilen.
