Description
Absperrventile für heiße Medien, z. B. Heißwasserzapfventile des Sanitärarmaturenfaches, zeigen oft die unangenehme Erscheinung, daß sie einige Zeit nach dem Schließen zu tröpfeln beginnen. Das ist- darauf zurückzuführen, daß nach dem Schließen das Ventil wieder erkaltet und dann durch die Kontraktion der Ventilteile - Spindel, Kegelstück usw. - der feste Schließdruck der Dichtung nachläßt. Vorzugsweise hat der Bimetallkörper die Ausführung einer oder mehrerer in der Ventilachse liegender Bimetall-Tellerscheiben, deren Dehnmetall auf der Innenseite des Tellers liegt. In dieser Ausführung wird der Teller bei fallender Temperatur höher, kompensiert also die Kontraktion im Ventil. Infolge der automatischen Kompensation aller durch Temperaturschwankungen auftretenden Längenänderungen verhält es sich wie ein aus dehnungsfreiem Werkstoff hergestelltes Ventil. Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht die Erfindung an dem Beispiel eines Ventiloberteiles des Sanitärarmaturenfaches mit stehender Spindel 1 und axial bewegtem Kegelstück 2 mit Anordnung von zwei Stück solcher Bimetall-Tellerscheiben 3, die in einer hülsenartigen Eindrehung 4 des Kegelstückes über der Ventildichtung 5 angeordnet sind.
