Das Bespannungstuch 9 ist mit den äußeren Enden der Streben 1 bis 8 sowie an verschiedenen, in Abständen gegen die Schirmmitte zu liegenden Stellen mit den Streben 1 bis 8 verbunden und legt sich beim Schließen des Schirmes durch Verschwenken der Streben im Sinne der Pfeile a, b in Fig. 1 in Falten. Bei ausgespanntem Schirm liegen die Streben 1 und 8 einander an und sind durch ein am äußeren Ende der Strebe 1 radial verschiebbares Gabelstück 16 (F i g. 2) miteinander verbindbar. Die inneren Enden der Streben 1 bis 7 weisen als Verbindungsstück mit den Ringsegmenten 1" bis 7" Führungsrohre 17 auf, in welchen je ein nach oben abgewinkeltes Verlängerungsstück 18 geführt ist. Die Verlängerungsstücke 18 sind radial verstellbar und an ihren äußeren, nach oben abgewinkelten Enden mit dem inneren Rand des Bespannungstuches 9 verbunden. Die Verlängerungsstücke 18 sind in den Führungsrohren 17 schiebverstellbar und entgegen der Wirkung einer Druckfeder 19 nach Wunsch gegen den Schirmmittelpunkt zu vorstellbar. Zum Vorstellen je eines Verlängerungsstückes 18 dient eine mit Kolben 20 versehene Kolbenstange 21, die im Führungsrohr 17 geführt ist. Zur Festlegung der gewünschten Verlängerungsstellung des Verlängerungsstückes 18 dient ein am Kolben 20 sitzender Nocken 22 und ein am Führungsrohr 17 vorgesehener Längsschlitz 23 mit Rasten 24, in welchem der Nocken 22 geführt und wahlweise in die Rasten 24 einrückbar ist. Die Verstellbarkeit des Verlängerungsstückes 18 gestattet den Anschluß des inneren Randes des Bespannungstuches 9 an die verschiedenen Dicken des vom Schirm zu umschließenden Baumes 25 (F i g. 1 und 3). Die Schirmmitte befindet sich hinten außerhalb des Wagens 10. In der Nähe der Schirmmitte weist das Bespannungstuch 9 zwischen den Streben 4, 5 eine Beschickungsöffnung 26 auf, welche sich an der tiefsten Stelle der durch den Schirm gebildeten Mulde und zugleich über dem Kasten des Wagens befindet. Das zum Leiten des Erntegutes nach der Beschickungsöffnung 26 erforderliche Gefälle wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Streben 4 und 5 in der Ringzone der Beschickungsöffnung 26 eine starke, die Streben 3, 6 eine mittlere und die Streben 2, 7 eine leichte Einsattelung 27 (Fig. 3 und 4) nach unten aufweisen, während die Streben 1 und 8 geradlinig verlaufen. Bei dicht behangenen Bäumen ist auch eine Abstützung des Schirmes auf der dem Wagen 10 gegenüberliegenden Seite möglich. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Tragringsegmente 2' und 7' an ihrer Kreuzungsstelle mit den Streben 2 und 7 durch Stützen 28 (F i g. 3) abstützbar. Bei Verwendung der Vorrichtung an großen Bäumen kann der Schirm statt konzentrisch zum Baumstamm, auch außerhalb des Baumstammes aufgestellt werden, derart, daß die Umfangslinie des Schirmes den Baumstamm tangiert. In diesem Fall ist die Öffnung des Schirmes durch Einstoßen der Kolbenstangen 21 bis zur letzten Raststellung des Nokkens 22 zu verkleinern und durch Niederklappen einer Klappe 29 (Fig. 4) abzuschließen.
