Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Leuchte, an deren Gehäuseoberteil die lichtdurchlässige Abdeckung mittels umgelegter Kunststoffbänder gehalten ist. Dabei ist jedes Kunststoffband an einem Ende mittels eines Verschlusses, am anderen Ende mittels eines sogenannten Scharniers mit dem Rand des Gehäuseoberteils anbringbar verbunden. Mit Hilfe des Verschlusses wird der für das Halten der Abdeckung erforderliche elastische Druck erzeugt. Der Verschluß ist lösbar. Nach dem Lösen des Verschlusses fällt das Band an der Verschlußseite herunter. Bei einer anderen bekannten Ausführungsform (französische Patentschrift 1248 436) sind die Widerlager in Form von zwei einspringenden Taschen ausgebildet, die am Rand des Gehäuseoberteils unterhalb der Schulter angeformt sind. Bei den beiden bekannten Ausführungsformen ist das Kunststoffband scharnierseitig mit den Abstütznocken lediglich in die dafür vorgesehenen Widerlager am Rand des Gehäuseoberteils eingelegt, ohne daß eine Absicherung besteht. Dabei ist das Blechstück mit zwei Aufbiegungen 33 versehen, die als Widerlagernocken dienen. An diesen Aufbiegungen 33 liegen die Abstütznocken 27. Auch bei Metallgehäusen ist der Schulterrand bei Anwendung der Erfindung im wesentlichen durchgehend, da sich das Blechstück 32 dem Schulterprofil anpaßt. Diese Lösung ist zweckmäßiger, einfacher und formschöner als die Lösung mit den bereits erwähnten seitlich vorstehenden hakenartigen Teilen am Schulterrand.
