Gemäß der Erfindung wird das Infaltenlegen der Gardine oder des Vorhanges mit Hilfe des Tragbandes dadurch verbessert, daß an Stelle der zwei parallel zueinander verlaufenden Zugschnüre an sich bekannte elastische Zugmittel, z. B. blanke, umsponnene oder umflochtene Gummifäden, im gespannten Zustand im glatten Tragband eingearbeitet sind. Und zwar sind die Zugmittel derart eingearbeitet, daß sie auf der Seite des Tragbandes, auf der sie abwechselnd streckenweise frei verlaufen und eingewebt sind, jeweils in der Mitte oder etwa in der Mitte der eingewebten Abschnitte fest mit dem Tragband verbunden sind. Neben dem Vorteil des selbsttätigen Infaltenlegens der Gardine wird auch eine große Zeitersparnis in der Handhabung des Bandes gegenüber der des Bandes gemäß dem Zusatzpatent dadurch erreicht, daß beim Infaltenlegen das Herausziehen der Zugschnüre und Aufwickeln der überstehenden Schnurenden sowie das Befestigen der Wickel, wie es bei der Handhabung des Tragbandes gemäß dem Zusatzpatent erforderlich ist, hier in Wegfall kommen.
