An den Flanschseiten der Pfosten 1 sind die der Befestigung der Rückwände 3 dienenden, angestanzten Zungen 13 angeordnet (Fig. 3). Die Rückwände3 sind allseitig nach hinten abgewinkelt. Die oberen und die unteren abgewinkelten Wandteile sind mit 31, die seitlichen Wandteile, die zugleich zur Befestigung an den Pfosten 1 und damit zur Längsverbindung der einzelnen Pfosten dienen und sich im montierten Regal an den Flanschen der Pfosten anlegen, sind mit 32 bezeichnet. Letztere sind zu diesem Zweck mit der Form und der Wandstärke der angestanzten Zungen 13 entsprechenden Öffnungen 35 und Schlitzen 36 versehen, deren Oberkanten im montierten Zustand auf dem Teil 14 der Zungen 13 aufliegen. Zur Erhöhung der Steifheit und damit das Zusammenfügen der Rückwände mit den Pfosten quer zur Regalrichtung vorgenommen werden kann, sind die bei den Öffnungen 35 stehengebliebenen Teile 34 der Wandteile 32 bügelartig nach innen ausgebuchtet. Die seitlichen Wandteile sind so abgewinkelt, daß sie einen in der Ebene des Wandteiles der Rückwand verlaufenden, vorstehenden Falz 33 bilden, der an der Stegseite des Hohlprofilpfostens 1 anliegt. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Gestaltung der Rückwände, zu welcher nur einfache Biege- und Stanzarbeiten notwendig sind, wird somit eine einfache, eigensteife Verbindung der Pfosten ermöglicht. Die Verbindungsstellen selbst sind von vorn nicht sichtbar. Auch die Pfosten werden bis auf einen schmalen Streifen überdeckt, so daß unabhängig von der Regelgröße praktisch eine durchgehende, plane Rückwandfläche entsteht. Der größeren Versteifung und der einfacheren Transportmöglichkeit halber sind zwischen den einzelnen Pfosten mehrere Rückwände 3 übereinander angeordnet. Dementsprechend sind auch an den Flanschseiten der Hohlprofile 1 mehrere Zungen 13 in regelmäßigen Abständen übereinander angestanzt. Der Zusammenbau des Regals läßt sich leicht ohne jedes technische Hilfsmittel bewerkstelligen. Zuerst werden zwei Pfosten 1 auf je eine Fußplatte 2 aufgesetzt und dann durch Aufstecken der Rückwände, wie F i g. 3 zeigt, miteinander verbunden. Auf die gleiche Weise werden die weiteren Pfosten zugefügt, bis schließlich die gewünschte Regalbreite erreicht ist. Sodann werden in die Pfosten 1 auf den gewünschten Höhen die Konsolplatten 4 in den gewünschten Neigungen eingehängt, und zwar in die Endpfosten jeweils ein Stück und in die übrigen Pfosten je zwei Stück (Fig.2). Schließlich werden, von hinten beginnend, die mit abstehenden Rändern 51,52,53 versehenen Regalborde 5 bzw. ein Drahtkorb 6 auf die Konsolplatten 4 aufgesteckt, die mit Fixierungsrasten 43 und Haltemitteln 44 versehen sind. Falls das Regal frei im Raum stehen soll, ίο können zwei Regale mit ihren Rückseiten aneinanderstehend zu einem Doppelregal verbunden werden. Die Verbindung kann auf einfache Weise durch U-Profile erfolgen, die in Längsrichtung über die oberen Enden der Pfosten gestülpt werden.
