Der Blickverlauf erfolgt weitgehend unbewußt, die Wahrnehmung ist meistens verhältnismäßig unkonzentriert und selbst bei näherer Zuwendung häufig noch flüchtig und jederzeit zum Abbruch und zur Zuwendung auf neue Gegenstände bereit. Jede durch einen Versuch gesetzte Intention nimmt dem Blickverlauf diese schmetterlingshafte Beweglichkeit, Leichtigkeit und geIöste Ungebundenheit und bringt sofort Momente der Selbstbeobachtung mit ins Spiel. b) Die umständliche Auswertung der bekannten Verfahren bringt schwer kontrollierbare Fehlerquellen mit sich und beeinträchtigt somit die Genauigkeit der Ergebnisse. c) Die praktische Nutzung der Verfahren wird durch den hohen Auswertungsaufwand in Frage gestellt, zumal unter solchen Umständen die zur statistischen Sicherung der Ergebnisse erforderliche relativ hohe Zahl von Versuchspersonen nur schwer zu erreichen ist.
