Description
Multilayer color photographic reversal film material with non-diffusible Color components There is an interest in the p11 difference between Unterguss and the remaining emulsion layers of a multilayer reversal color photographic material with diffusion-resistant color components for color development as long as possible during storage to maintain the set aging rate is not lost even after long periods of storage.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that between sub- and a gelatin intermediate layer comprising buffer substances in the middle of this multilayer material is arranged, the pH value of which corresponds to that of the subsoil.
The emulsion proportions determined for the middle casting and the top casting are correspondingly treated. They show, mainly because of the different additives they receive usually have different pH and p.g values than the undercoating emulsion. By addition of citric acid and potassium bromide solution, you set them before pouring so that that the pouring emulsion to the inventive distance between the pH and p_1 ,: values comes.
A 1.75% gelatin solution is used to produce the intermediate layer assumed that provided with 10% buffer solution (based on the volume of the gelatin solution) is. A mixture of equal parts m / 10 disodium citrate solution is used as the buffer substance and m / 10 trisodium citrate solution (pH .; 6.40).
M. H. S w e e t , J. Soc. Mot. Pict. Tel. Eng., 54, S. 35 [1950]).For testing, the film is exposed in an intensity scale sensitometer and developed in a commercially available color reversal developer. The color densities will be determined in the known manner using suitable blue, green and red filters (cf. M. H. S w e t, J. Soc. Mot. Pict. Tel. Eng., 54, p. 35 [1950]).
Teil b) der Tabelle zeigt die Ergebnisse der Haltbarkeitsprüfung der zu vergleichenden Filme I und Il.The following table gives in part a) under film I the pH values of the light-sensitive layers of a multilayer material produced in a conventional manner again and under film 1I the setting of the values according to the invention. Part b) the Table shows the results of the durability test of the films to be compared I and Il.
The color density of the base is also more stable with film II. The loss of color density in the middle casting remains practically without affecting the color matching in the parts of the sensitometer curves that are important for the image, as here and in contrast to Fiten I the gradation is very consistent. The top casting also shows the same behavior.
