Abstract

The road vehicle rear lamp or side lamp has a housing (1) with a flat divider (2) separating first (3) and second (4) chambers. The two chambers and the divider have a reflective inner coating. An incandescent light bulb (12) projects through an aperture (11) in the curved rear surface (15) of the second chamber. There is a mounting and electrical connection (13) for the lamp immediately behind the reflector. A lens (14) is mounted in front of the lamp behind a transparent front window (6).
