Abstract

The road vehicle signal lamp (1) has a housing containing multiple LED's (17) and reflectors arranged around the central axis of a main lamp (3). Each subsidiary lamp (5,5') may have a single LED and a plain cover glass (18). Each subsidiary lamp is surrounded by an e.g. parabolic reflector (16) and its optical axis may be parallel to the optical axis of the main lamp. The main lamp may have a lens (8) in front of a LED (6) with multiple prismatic lens elements (9) on its rear surface.
