Da es sowohl 2 Versionen von Getränkedosen wie auch Tetrapackungen gibt (vielleicht gibt es sogar noch mehr) und diese Verpackungen in den seltesten Fällen unverknautscht zurückkommen werden, stellt sich die Frage wie ein Automat schnell das Abgegebene unzweifelhaft erkennen kann, um dem Kunden sogleich eine Qittung ausdrucken zu können. (Die gesetzlich festgeschriebene Höhe soll je nach Verpackung verschieden sein).
