Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to the glazing of windows used in buildings. Windows have a very big impact on energy losses. They are an important starting point in the course of a so-called energy renovation. According to the state of the art, the replacement of complete windows or their glazing is intended to improve the situation. The aim of such an exchange is to reduce heat losses through reduced heat transfer through so-called multiple glazing.

So-called attachment discs are also known as an advantageous alternative. Such attachment discs are, for example, in DE9013167U1 , EP0152885A2 , DE7719752U1 , DE7930473U1 and DE958248C described.

DE9013167U1 and DE7930473U1 suggest attaching the additional pane to the glass frame of a window. The attachment of the lens is fixed to the glass frame using a Velcro fastener or screws. If dismantling is necessary, both leave traces that require considerable effort to remove.

EP0152885A2 and DE7719752U1 provide for the attachment of the additional pane by gluing it to the existing glass. The attachment can be classified as difficult here because the lens, spacer and adhesive element form a unit.

DE958248C carries out the attachment to the glass frame using so-called sashes. These are screwed into the glass frame and thus cause damage.

Attachment panes, which are provided with pre-drilled holes to accommodate screws to simplify installation, require corresponding preparations for installation on the existing window. The positioning and attachment of these corresponding preparations requires high dimensional accuracy, specialist knowledge and tools. This is an adverse circumstance.

The object of the present invention is to avoid or at least reduce the disadvantages described and to create a cost-effective, simple and quick option for equipping with an additional pane. The solution to the problem uses an arrangement with the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments result from the dependent patent claims.

Accordingly, an attachment pane with strip elements is provided, which is characterized in that the attachment pane rests on assigned strip elements which are fixed to an old glass stock. This fixation can be done by clamping it in the frame or gluing it to the old glass. The surface of the strip elements facing the attachment pane is closed and flat, if necessary waffled. The attachment pane has a large number of openings (at least 8) in the areas that come into contact with the strip elements. The openings can be arranged in any pattern and thus also meet aesthetic requirements.

In the case of a rectangular attachment pane, fasteners such as screws with points are screwed into the strip elements through at least four of these openings during assembly. To make this possible, the strip elements are made of a material with low penetration resistance. Preferably made of hard foam, wood, cork, plastic. Preparatory drilling with precise dimensional alignment in the strip elements is therefore not necessary, which represents a great simplification.

If the attachment pane is removed as part of cleaning the space between the attachment pane and the old glass and then reattached, the fasteners are screwed back into the strip elements through a neighboring opening in the attachment pane if the holding force is no longer present in the original position. This makes multiple assembly possible.

A further embodiment provides that the connection of the attachment pane to the strip elements takes place via flat connections, such as magnetic connections and/or Velcro connections. In this case, openings in the attachment pane serve as starting points for aids to loosen the connection. Such an aid can be, for example, a so-called forcing screw. Advantageously, in the case of a magnetic connection, the strip element is made of a magnetically active material and thus serves as a second component of the magnet pairing.

For improved sealing of the space between the front pane and the old glass, a strip made of a compressible material such as soft foam can be arranged on the strip elements.

In a preferred embodiment, in addition to the edge-side strip elements, strip elements are also provided which fill the gap between the front pane and the old glass divide into segments. This is particularly advantageous when the window dimensions are large. This design reduces disadvantageous convection in the space between the front pane and the old glass and thus advantageously reduces the heat transfer.
