Abstract

Wall mounting device (30), preferably for a wall mount (40) of a loudspeaker cabinet (10), comprising
a trapezoidal or triangular base body (34) with at least one fastening opening (36), and
angled side parts (38) arranged on the legs of the trapezoidal or triangular base body (34).

Description

The invention relates to a wall mounting device, preferably for a wall mount of a loudspeaker cabinet, for example a planar loudspeaker cabinet.

With existing wall mounting systems, attaching objects is often comparatively complex. Screw connections between the wall mounting systems and the objects are usually required.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a wall holding device and a system comprising a wall holding device and a wall bracket which enables an object to be easily mounted on a wall.

This problem is solved by the subject matter of the independent claims.

According to the invention, the wall mounting device is preferably suitable for fastening a loudspeaker cabinet or can be used for this purpose.

The loudspeaker can preferably be a planar loudspeaker, i.e. a flat loudspeaker.

The wall mounting device has a trapezoidal or triangular base body with at least one fastening opening.

For example, the base body can be plate-shaped.

Preferably, at least or exactly one, two, three, four, five or more fastening openings are provided.

The wall mounting device can be attached, e.g. screwed, to a wall via the mounting opening, for example using a screw.

Angled side parts are arranged on the legs of the trapezoidal or triangular base body.

Preferably, the side parts extend over the entire length of the legs.

For example, the side parts can be plate-shaped.

The legs are preferably formed integrally with the base body.

If the wall mounting device is made of a metal material, the side parts can be curved, for example.

The side parts can, for example, form an acute or obtuse angle with the base body.

When installed, the side panels can extend away from the wall, thus protruding.

This makes it possible to attach an object to it, for example by hanging it.

An object can therefore be mounted on a wall in a simple manner, preferably without tools.

Furthermore, the wall mounting device can be manufactured cost-effectively.

According to one embodiment, the base body is isosceles.

The basic body can be formed as an isosceles trapezoid or an isosceles triangle.

According to a further embodiment, the wall holding device is axially symmetrical.

Preferably, the axis of symmetry runs centrally between the two legs.

The side parts are preferably angled in the same direction. For example, the side parts can each form the same angle with the base body.

According to a further embodiment, the area of the base body is larger than the area of a side part.

Preferably, the area of the base body is larger than the area of both side parts combined.

According to a further embodiment, the wall holding device comprises or consists of a metal material, preferably a sheet metal material, and/or a plastic material.

For example, with a metal wall mount, the side panels can be curved.

In the case of a wall mounting device made of plastic, the side parts can, for example, be manufactured in one piece, for example by injection molding.

The invention also relates to a system with a wall holding device according to the invention and a wall bracket.

The wall bracket has a trapezoidal or triangular component and angled side components arranged on the legs of the trapezoidal or triangular component.

Conventional wall mounts often extend beyond the object being mounted. This can negatively impact the sound quality of speakers, for example.

The wall mount can, for example, comprise a trapezoidal or triangular component, such as a metal part, e.g., sheet metal, and/or a plastic part. Angled side components can be arranged on the legs of the component. The side components can be formed as separate components or integrally with the component.

Preferably, the side components are riveted, welded, screwed and/or glued to the trapezoidal or triangular component.

The wall mount should preferably be inexpensive to manufacture. For example, it should consist of just one or three components.

The wall mounting device and the wall bracket essentially form a male and female part that can be connected to each other, preferably without the use of tools. For example, the wall bracket can be slid over the wall mounting device mounted to a wall, e.g., using screws.

This allows for a secure hold on the wall.

The wall mounting device and the wall bracket contact each other, for example, on the side panels and side components.

According to one embodiment, the system comprises a loudspeaker housing, wherein the wall bracket is provided on and/or in the loudspeaker housing.

For example, the loudspeaker cabinet has a plate-shaped front side, a plate-shaped rear side oriented parallel to the front side, and a separating element arranged between the front side and the rear side.

The separating element can be designed to define at least two separate volumes.

Preferably, the loudspeaker housing has at least one rectangular or oval recess for a loudspeaker basket, which is provided on a preferably lateral and/or narrow end face of the loudspeaker housing.

The wall mount should preferably not protrude beyond the surface, e.g., the back, of the speaker cabinet. For example, it is designed to face inward. This has the advantage of not increasing the depth of the speaker. This is advantageous from an aesthetic point of view. It also has a positive impact on the speaker's dispersion characteristics.

According to a further embodiment, at least one damping element is provided on the loudspeaker housing, preferably in a mounting recess of the loudspeaker housing.

The mounting recesses on the speaker cabinet can be sealed with damping elements, such as silicone plugs. These damping elements then allow the speaker cabinet to rest against the wall.

Finally, the invention relates to the use of a wall mounting device according to the invention and/or a system according to the invention for attaching a loudspeaker, a television, a picture, a work of art and/or a sign to a wall.

The wall mounting device can therefore be used in a variety of ways.

All aspects, embodiments, and features of the invention described here can be combined with each other, preferably independently of the specific embodiment in which they are mentioned. Preferably, all subject matter of the dependent claims can be combined with each other and with each subject matter of the independent claims.

Wall mounting device (30), preferably for a wall mount (40) of a loudspeaker housing (10), comprising a trapezoidal or triangular base body (34) with at least one fastening opening (36), and on the legs of the trapezoidal or triangular Angled side parts (38) arranged on the shaped base body (34).
