Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, bei einer an sich bekannten Mittelkonsole eines Kraftfahrzeuges, die sich in einem mittleren, bodennahen Bereich in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung erstreckt und an ihrem vorderen Ende in ein Armaturenbrett übergeht, ein Mittelkonsolenoberteil vorzusehen, welches lediglich an seinem in Fahrtrichtung gesehenen hinteren Ende in Z-Richtung, das heißt in vertikaler Richtung, fixiert ist, wogegen es in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung, das heißt in X-Richtung schwimmend gelagert ist und welches an seinem vorderen Längsende in Vertikalrichtung einstellbar an einem Modul des Armaturenbretts angebunden ist. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Mittelkonsolenoberteil ist es möglich, ein Spaltmaß zwischen dem Modul des Armaturenbretts, insbesondere zwischen einem nahezu vertikal stehenden Kommunikations- oder Klimatisierungsmodul, und dem Mittelkonsolenoberteil exakt einzustellen und dadurch ein optisch ansprechendes Erscheinungsbild zu erzeugen. Durch die in Vertikalrichtung fixierte Lage des Mittelkonsolenoberteils an dessen hinterem Längsende und durch die vertikale Einstellbarkeit des Mittelkonsolenoberteils an dessen vorderem Längsende lässt sich ein vergleichsweise einfacher Ausgleich von Fertigungstoleranzen erzielen. Durch die Tatsache, dass das Mittelkonsolenoberteil an seinem hinteren Längsende in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung, das heißt in X-Richtung, verschieblich gelagert ist, kann bei einem Vertikalverstellen des Mittelkonsolenoberteils an dessen vorderem Längsende ein Verschwenken des gesamten Mittelkonsolenoberteils erzielt werden.
