Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Entfernung von Fusseln von der Oberfläche von Textilien umfassend ein Gehäuse (11), einen Scherkopf, eine Schneideinrichtung im Inneren des Gehäuses sowie einen vom Gehäuse abnehmbaren Sammelbehälter (17) für die abgetrennten Fusseln. Erfindungsgemäß ist diese Vorrichtung mit wenigstens einer Beleuchtungseinrichtung (18) zur Ausleuchtung der mit dem Gerät bearbeiteten Oberfläche des Textils ausgestattet, wobei diese Beleuchtungseinrichtung (18) in einem seitlichen Bereich des Gehäuses mit etwas axialem Abstand zum Scherkopfbereich (12) angeordnet ist und diese Licht auf einen neben dem Scherkopf liegenden zu bearbeitenden Bereich der textilen Oberfläche abstrahlt.
