Letzteres stellt bspw. die Alternative zwischen einer Raucher- und einer Nichtrauchermittelkonsole dar. Generell sind dabei die Anbauteile über im Einbauzustand von außen nicht sichtbare Clips- und/oder Schraubverbindungen am Träger des Mittelkonsolenmoduls befestigt, wodurch die Montage des Mittelkonsolenmoduls einerseits vergleichsweise einfach, die damit erreichbare Variantenvielfalt jedoch hoch ist. Insbesondere ist es durch das erfindungsgemäße vorgefertigte Mittelkonsolenmodul möglich, dieses bereits in einer Vorfertigung komplett vorzufertigen und erst kurz vor Schluss in die endgültige Fahrzeugmontage zu integrieren. Durch die hierdurch erreichbare Modularisierung reduziert sich ein Logistikaufwand in der Fahrzeugendmontage erheblich. Darüber hinaus ist durch die im Einbauzustand von außen nicht sichtbaren Clips- und/oder Schraubverbindungen eine optisch und ästhetisch ansprechende Fertigung möglich. Selbstverständlich ist in der Vormontage des Mittelkonsolenmoduls durch ein Aufnahmekonzept (Bauteilzentrierungen) auch eine enge und gleichmäßige Fugenabstimmung ohne den Einfluss von Fahrzeugtoleranzen realisierbar.
