Der Anbau doppelt schwenkbarer Rückhaltesysteme an den hinteren Holmen der Fahrerschutzdächer verlangt aufgrund der größeren auftretenden Beanspruchungen in den Schraubenverbindungen oder in den kraftschlüssigen den hinteren Holm umgreifenden Klemmmanschetten besondere Maßnahmen, den hinteren Holm so exakt wie möglich abzubilden und sich dem schrägen Verlauf anzupassen. Die Auslegung derartiger auf das vorliegende Fahrerschutzdach angepasster Konstruktionen kann aufgrund der Vielfalt nicht wirtschaftlich für die Nachrüstung älterer Frontsitzgabelstapler sein, daher müssen diese Fahrzeuge aufwendig mit Sicherheitsgurten und zugehörigen anzupassenden Verriegelungen für Batterie und Motorhaube nachgerüstet werden.In practice, such doors are used, which consist of two parts as hinged doors, which are either pivotally connected to each other or oppositely struck both on the front and on the rear spar of a driver's roof, so that the door can be opened in the middle.
