Process for severing an adhesive bead ( 34 ) of a disc ( 12 ) comprising the following steps: - passing a cutting means ( 18 ) around the adhesive bead ( 34 ) from the outside; - Attaching a suction cup ( 19a , b, c) on the disc ( 12 ) from the inside; - passing a first end of the cutting means ( 18 ) through the adhesive bead ( 34 ) and attaching to the suction plate ( 19a , b, c); - passing a second end of the cutting means ( 18 ) through the adhesive bead ( 34 ) and attaching to a motor-driven winding device ( 24 ) and - driving the winding device ( 24 ) for winding up the cutting means ( 18 ) to the glue bead ( 34 ) to sever.
