Auf diese Weise wird das Fugenbild zwischen den Scheinwerfern und der Stoßfängerabdeckung eingestellt. Es werden somit zwei separate spritzgegossene Montage-Führungsteile benötigt, die mit jeweils zwei Schrauben in einem separaten Arbeitsschritt verschraubt werden müssen. Um sowohl den jeweiligen Scheinwerfer als auch das Montage-Führungsteil fahrzeugfest und in vorbestimmter Position zueinander fixieren zu können, muss an dem Frontendmontageträger jeweils ein verrippter Scheinwerfer-Untergurt mit angespritzt sein.
