Abstract

Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Inlay anzugeben, mit der eine sichere Obturation eines Wurzelkanals mit geringem Aufwand und relativ schnell möglich ist, wobei die Stabilität der Zahnwurzel erhalten bleiben soll. DOLLAR A Erfindungsgemäß gelingt die Lösung der Aufgabe dadurch, dass das Inlay einen Körper mit einer Längsachse umfasst, dessen Außenfläche sich entlang der Längsachse von einer größeren Querschnittsfläche zu einer schmaleren Querschnittsfläche verjüngt, wobei der Körper mit zum Wurzelkanal im Wesentlichen paralleler Längsachse von der Spitze der Zahnwurzel her in einen Wurzelkanal einsetzbar ist, wobei der Innenraum des Wurzelkanals mittels eines Ultraschallwerkzeuges bearbeitbar und geformt ist und die Außenfläche des Körpers eine im Wesentlichen mit einer Spitze des Ultraschallwerkzeuges korrespondierende Form aufweist.
