Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
einem Dampfauslass (12), durch das Kraftstoffdampf den Kraftstofftank verlassen kann,
einem Schwalltopf (34), der eine kontinuierliche Seitenwand (38) und ein offenes Ende hat,
einem Gehäusemantel (32), der teilweise in dem Schwalltopf (34) angeordnet ist, zum Teil einen Innenraum definiert und eine Durchgangsöffnung (50) hat, die mit dem offenen Ende des Schwalltopfes (34) verbunden ist, wobei die Durch gangsöffnung (50) gegen spritzenden flüssigen Kraftstoff durch den Schwalltopf (34) abgeschirmt ist,
einem ersten Schwimmer (16), der eine zu dem Dampfauslass (12) ausgerichtete Öffnung (20) hat, in dem Innenraum gleitend gelagert ist und auf flüssigen Kraftstoff in dem Innenraum anspricht, um den Dampfauslass (12) bei oder oberhalb eines ersten Kraftstoffniveaus im Kraftstofftank teilweise zu schließen und eine Strömung durch den Dampfauslass (12) nur durch die Öffnung des ersten Schwimmers (16) zuzulassen, und
einem zweiten Schwimmer (22), der in dem Innenraum gleitend gelagert ist, auf ein Kraftstoffniveau in dem Innenraum, das oberhalb des ersten Kraftstoffni veaus liegt, anspricht, um die Öffnung (20) des ersten Schwimmers (16) zu schlie ßen, wenn flüssiger Kraftstoff bei oder oberhalb eines zweiten Kraftstoffniveaus im Kraftstofftank auf ihn einwirkt, um eine Strömung durch die Öffnung (20) des ers ten Schwimmers (16) zu sperren.
ein Strömungshindernis (90; 232), das einen oberen Abschnitt des Gehäuse mantels (32) einschließlich des oberen Randes des Gehäusemantels (32) umgibt und,
einen Dampf-Strömungsweg (235), der mit dem Inneren des Kraftstofftanks an einer Stelle oberhalb des zweiten Kraftstoffniveaus verbunden ist und der auf weist:
einen Einlass, der zumindest teilweise zwischen dem Strömungshindernis (232) und dem Gehäusemantel (32) unterhalb des oberen Randes des Gehäuseman tels (32) gebildet ist, und einen Abschnitt oberhalb des oberen Randes (237) des Gehäusemantels (32), wobei der Dampfauslass (12; 226) und der Gehäusemantel (32) so angeordnet und ausgebildet sind, dass Fluid im Kraftstofftank, um den Dampfauslass durch den Dampf-Strömungsweg (235) zu erreichen, nach oben zwi schen das Strömungshindernis (90; 232) und den Gehäusemantel (32), seitlich über den Rand (237) des Gehäusemantels (32) und weiter in seitlicher Richtung zu dem Dampfauslass (12) und nach oben durch den Dampfauslass (12) strömen muss, um das Ausströmen von Kraftstoffdampf aus dem Kraftstofftank zu ermöglichen, wäh rend flüssiger Kraftstoff am Durchströmen des Dampfauslasses (12) gehindert wird.
