Entscheidend ist allein die eineindeutige Zuordnung zu der Empfängernummer also Telefonnummer. Im Ergebnis steht somit zu jeder Empfängerkennung ein Bezeichner bereit. Dabei können für einen Bezeichner mehrere Empfängerkennungen oder mehrere Bezeichner angelegt sein. Die Bezeichner können gelöscht, verändert oder nur für einen beliebigen Zeitraum angelegt werden. Die Empfängerkennungen mit den jeweils zugeordneten Bezeichnern werden auf einem Datenbankserver 6 der die Datenbank 5 verwaltet und mit der Zentraleinheit 2 datenverbunden ist, verwaltet. In diesem Datenbankserver 6 findet sowohl eine Paßwortverwaltung sowie auch eine Verwaltung der Benutzerkennungen statt. Dies kann entweder händisch dadurch geschehen, daß eine entsprechende Telefonzentrale anhand des Bezeichners die Empfängerkennung in verschlüsselter Form übermittelt bekommt oder aber die Zentraleinheit 2 selbsttätig auf die Datenbank 5 zugreift. Dabei wird der Datenbankserver 6 physikalisch vollständig entkoppelt von der Zentraleinheit 2 betrieben werden.
