Zeichnung) wird in der gewindelosen Bohrung 5 des Isolierkörpers2 ein Preßsitz erzielt, indem sich die Spitzen4 des Gewindes 3 oder der Rillen der Mittelelektrode 1 umbiegen. Es sind dabei geringe Toleranzen der Bohrung 5 des Isolierkörpers 2 belanglos. Die Gewindespitzen 4 der Mittelelektrode biegen sich beim Einpressen in die Isolierkörperbohrung 5 in Richtung auf das Anschlußende der Mittelelektrode um und widerstehen dadurch gut dem Gasdruck, der während des Betriebes auf die zündseitige Stirnfläche der Mittelelektrode wirkt. Das Einhaken der Gewindespitzen in den Isolierkörper ergibt eine einwandfreie Dauerbefestigung der Mittelelektrode. Die gewindelose Isolierkörperbohrung ist einfacher herstellbar und bruchsicherer als die mit Gewinde versehene Längsbohrung bekannter Isolierkörper.
