Sowohl das Lichtton- als auch das Magnettonverfahren sind in Verbindung mit Laufbildweriern bekannt. Ferner sind Anordnungen an Laufbildwerfern bekannt, die sowohl die eine als auch die andere Tonabtastung gestatten. Ein derartiges Gerät besitzt zwei 5 Magnetköpfe, die auf verschiedenen Seiten einer Tonrolle abtasten. Zwischen diesen Magnetköpfen ist eine Lichttonoptik vorgesehen.
