Es ist bekannt, daß bei Nähmaschinen, die auf einem Gestell zwar schwenkbar, aber nicht versenkbar angeordnet sind, die Nähmaschine in ihrer Arbeitsstellung gegenüber dem Gestell durch eine Verriegelungsvorriehtung festgehalten wird, damit die beim Nähvorgang auftretenden Sc wingungen gedämpft bzw. aufgehoben werden. Die Verriegelung erfolgt dabei zwischen der Grundplatte der Nähmaschine und dem Tischgestell mittels eines am letzteren befestigten Hebels, der über die Stofftragplatte der Nähmaschine geschoben wird und somit Gestell und Nähmaschine gegeneinanderpreßt. Eine solche Verriegelungsvorrichtung ist aber bei einer versenkbaren Nähmaschine nicht brauchbar.
