Herstellung der Eisenlösung.Making the iron solution.

Statt wie im Haupt-Patent, P. R. No. 444, zur Herstellung der Eisenlösung Salpetersäure zu einer kochenden Lösung von Eisenvitriol zuzusetzen, setzt man. besser zu der Lösung von Eisenvitriol äquivalente Mengen von Schwefelsäure und Salpeter hinzu, während man sonst, wie im Haupt-Patent beschrieben, verfährt.Instead of as in the main patent, P. Das Gerben und das Zurichten.

Andererseits erfolgt die Gerbung mittelst des Niederschlages, welchen Eiweifskörper beliebigen Ursprunges, z. B. die des Blutes, mit diesem Salze hervorbringen. Die Zurichtung findet statt durch die in der Patentschrift No. 444 angegebenen Mittel und auf die dort erwähnte Art.The tanning and dressing.

Claims

Patent claims:

1. The new, sodium-containing iron salt shown above.

2. The production of the same by means of a solution of iron vitriol and the introduction of Nitric and sulfuric acid in the same, as well as a subsequent addition of Iron vitriol in the manner which is partly in the present description, partly in Patent No. 444 is laid down.

3. The application of the precipitate produced in the above manner or in another way the protein body of any origin with the iron salts mentioned under 1 for tanning the hides.

4. The treatment of the hides or skins with these iron salts and the precipitates the same with albuminous bodies.

5. The dressing of the leather, which is described in the patent specification no. 444 is described (patent claims 2. to 5.), but based on the leather produced with the new iron salts mentioned above.
