Im niedergeklappten Zustand, also bei Verwendung der Einrichtung als Sitzmöbel, deckt der Deckel 4 die DeckplatteS im wesentlichen ab. Nur an seiner Vorderkante ist er etwas kürzer als die Deckplatte 3 und leicht abgerundet, um Erwachsenen ein angenehmes Sitzen zu ermöglichen. Die beiden Bogenstücke 15,16 dienen dem Deckel 4 beim Auf- und Herunterklappen als Führung und dem Kinde als Armlehnen. Zum Gebrauch der Einrichtung als Kinderabort bringt man sie über die Abortschüssel 7 bei aufgeklappter Brille 26 der letzteren und klappt dann den Deckel 4 hoch. Das Kind wird auf die Benutzungsöi'fnung 8 gesetzt und das Band 22 eingehängt, so daß es sich vor dem Kinde befindet und dieses am Herunterfallen hindert. Die zwei aus hohlem Rohrmaterial bestehenden Beine 102 zu jeder Seite der mit einer Benützungsöffnung 108 versehenen Deckplatte 103 bilden Teile eines einzigen Rohrstückes 140 von der Form eines umgekehrten U und tragen an ihren unteren Enden Fußstücke 127, z. B. aus Gummi oder anderem geeignetem Werkstoff wie Holz, Kunststoff oder Metall, deren obere Enden kleineren Durchmessers in die unteren Enden der rohrförmigen Beine 102 eingesteckt sind.
