Um dies zu erreichen, ist es erforderlich, daß die Heizwicklung in möglichst engen Kontakt mit den Bi-Metallstreifen gebracht ist. Bi-Streifen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er aus einem Bündel von vorzugsweise dünnen Glasfäden besteht, die je aus zwei Bi-Fäden mit verschiedenen thermischen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten hergestellt sind. 3. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Di-Streifens nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwei Fäden, Streifen oder Stäbe aus Glas mit verschiedenen thermischen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten in einer Flamme zu einem einzigen Faden, Streifen oder Stab zusammengezogen und mehrere solcher Fäden, Streifen oder Stäbe zu einem Bündel, z.
