Zur Ausrüstung von elektrischen Waschmaschinen gehört ein Motor zum Antrieb des Wäschebewegers und eine elektrische Heizeinrichtung zum Erwärmen des Wassers. Bei den bekannten Maschinen ist diesen beiden Einrichtungen je ein Regelschalter zugeordnet, von denen der dem Motor zugeordnete Schalter als einstellbarer Zeitschalter ausgebildet ist, der die Einschaltzeit des Motors zu wählen gestattet. Dadurch ist eine feste Zuordnung der Schaltstellung gegeben, es kann keine wahlweise Einstellung bestimmter Heizstufen erfolgen. Ferner ist es bekannt, konzentrisch zu einem Drehschalter einen Druckknopf anzuordnen, wodurch einer der zu betätigenden Stromkreise nur ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden kann.
