Abstract
La invención proporciona un procedimiento para producir trehalosa en las células de las plantas capaces de producir trehalasa cultivando células de las plantas que tengan la información genética necesaria para la producción de trehalosa y trehalasa , o cultivando una planta o una parte de dicha planta que incluya dichas células de la planta, con la característica de que dichas células de la planta son cultivadas, o dicha planta o parte de la planta, es cultivada en la presencia de un inhibidor de la trehalas.
